Luchon to Sort: 104.5km / climbing 2654m
A short climb takes us back into Spain and onto the next hill to take us over 2000 meters in altitude. Once we have taken in the sights at the top, a 35km descent will whisk us to the beautiful Spanish mountain town of Sort.

Today’s ride starts with a sharp climb!
I got to know Graham, the Physio. My right gluteus maximus decided to play up, and one word with Graham and I was on the Physio table – an amazing guy; not only was he able to fix the problem with some concentrated massage.

He also shared his incredible story with me. He survived a rare form of Cancer, has lost one eye, and has written a book called “Riding with the Alien” – available on Amazon and kindle. A brave man and my third inspiration on the slam. We finally arrived in the beautiful town of Sort in glorious sunshine.

Several refreshing beers were enjoyed and I caught up with Will – this time he was feeling good and beaming with a broad smile. Day 4 was over, but the evening was still young!
