Southbank Estate Sauvignon Blanc Rosé 2009
Delightful dry wine created by adding a small quantity of Syrah to Sauvignon Blanc. Retains herbaceous, gooseberry, passionfruit and strawberry notes with a crisp finish – delicious on its own or as an aperitif.

Southbank Sauvignon Blanc
One of the most happy-go-lucky styles on the shelves and it is a bargain price, too. Southbank has juicy citrus and wild flower nuances and is the perfect apéritif wine.

Southbank Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2010
Southbank Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2010 New Zealand is – as you would expect – a grassy, zesty, green-fruited, dry white. Top marks at the all-girls book club.

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Rose 2008
‘Like a floral jumpsuit, this wine covers two trends in one – sauvignon blanc and rosé. It has a lick of pink colour but it’s the passion fruit so typical of a New Zealand sauvignon that rules in flavour here.

“Ripe gooseberries and strawberries. Pleasant gooseberries, and ripe strawberry botes come through. Balanced Finish.”

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Rosé 2008
“Pink Sauvignon Blanc? Well if people can make pink Pinot Grigio and 'white' Zinfandel, why not? This has a splash of Syrah for colour although it doesn't add that much in the way of flavour. It’s a worthwhile curiosity, with gooseberry and tropical fruit notes.”
