‘Like a floral jumpsuit, this wine covers two trends in one – sauvignon blanc and rosé. It has a lick of pink colour but it’s the passion fruit so typical of a New Zealand sauvignon that rules in flavour here.

“Pink Sauvignon Blanc? Well if people can make pink Pinot Grigio and 'white' Zinfandel, why not? This has a splash of Syrah for colour although it doesn't add that much in the way of flavour. It’s a worthwhile curiosity, with gooseberry and tropical fruit notes.”
